Stephanie reached out to me a few months back with the highest of compliments: ” I’ve been Insta-stalking you and absolutely LOVE your photos.” Truly, the sweetest thing to say in the 21st century. ✌️
Stephanie went on to say that her fiancé Phil and her had just moved to Virginia Beach and were on the hunt for someone to take her engagement photos. We chatted a bit and I found out that they’re huge Harley Davidson fans and she’s very into Tiffanys. Peep that Tiffany’s rock on her finger! After a few emails back and forth to lock down our session date and ideas, I knew I had the perfect spot for their photos!
Fall engagements are my favorite!
We met late on a chilly Saturday afternoon. It finally felt like fall, which just meant S&P would get to snuggle up nice and close. We started with images at a super cool gothic looking church. The surrounding trees had plenty of fall colors beginning to show and we even had a few small pops of sunlight though the clouds.
Phil was a pretty tough guy to crack. He’s more of the stoic type, but I had a few tricks up my sleeve to get him smiling.
Next we hopped on over to a neat old building that had a lot of fun texture. I knew this warehouse look would be perfect for parking the Harley in front of for some epic shots!
I love that Stephanie brought her Tiffany box to the session too!
She’s really the perfect balance of girly and bad ass.
Phil and Steph don’t quite have their wedding plans on lock just yet. I’m crossing my fingers that I can be involved! Can you imagine a veil flying off the back of that bike as they ride away to their honeymoon? Absolutely killer!
